SUMMARY:Drop-in Workshop for Teens: Sustainability in Costume Design
DESCRIPTION:For our April Drop-in Workshop, we will be celebrating Earth Month. Teens can discover and explore ways that filmmakers can sustainably source costumes for their films and create designs of their own! We will be joined by Jillian Clark, a costume designer, sustainable fashion advocate, and entrepreneur. She founded her textile waste agency Roboro, in 2017, with the mission to “end textile waste.” Jillian will talk about her career path and lead a workshop about sustainable costume design!
Location:
Academy Museum of Motion Pictures
6067 Wilshire Boulevard
Los Angeles, CA 90036
